Heathmark

Complaints logged once. Returns ready on time.

Complaints records, FCA complaints returns and Consumer Duty reporting for small UK insurance brokers.

Why now

From 1 January 2027 the FCA’s single complaints return replaces the old returns, with fixed six-month periods, reporting by legal entity and new data on vulnerable customers. The first period runs from 1 January to 30 June 2027. Heathmark is built so a broker starts that period with its records in the right shape.

What it does

Log a complaint in under two minutes, by form or by pasting the email.

Track the DISP clock: summary resolution, the eight-week final response and overdue alerts, with bank holidays counted.

Record outcomes, redress and root cause, with a full audit trail.

Build the half-yearly return from your records, laid out as the return, ready to lock and export.

Draft the complaints section of your annual Consumer Duty board report from the same records.

Optional Claude add-on, planned for 2027: suggestions for category and vulnerability, which a person always confirms. It stays off until an owner switches it on.

Built for regulated firms

Heathmark works fully without AI. Each firm’s data is kept separate, owners use two-step sign-in and complainant contact details are removed before any AI step. Figures always come from your records, never from the AI.

Who it is for

Compliance leads and managing directors at independent UK general insurance brokers and small MGAs, roughly 5 to 50 staff, who keep complaints in a spreadsheet today.

Where it’s up to

Heathmark is built and in testing. We’re taking a small number of founding pilot firms, starting from December 2026 so they begin the first reporting period on it.

Heathmark helps you keep complaints records and prepare your return. Your firm remains responsible for what it submits to the FCA.
